MUMBAI: Anil Ambani owned Reliance communication Ltd has posted a net profit
of Rs 702.34 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 where as, there was
a net loss of Rs 19 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005.
The group has posted total revenue of Rs 3525.98 crore for the quarter ended
September 30, 2006 where as the same was at Rs 2522 crore for the quarter ended
September 30, 2006. The revenue has grown by 40 per cent year on year.
The EBIDTA margins in the wireless, global and broadband division has
increased by 38 per cent in this during the second quarter from 17 per cent
recorded during the previous quarter.
