Singapore Telecommunications Ltd (SingTel) was on May 20 reported to have taken a line in favor of raising its stake in Bharti Telecom to 32.81% at a cost of USD 252 million. The former, at present, holds 26.96% stake in the latter.
This would also lead to increase in SingTel's stake in Bharti Tele-Ventures from 28.16% to 30.84%.
