Veraz Networks, a global provider of next-generation
communication networks, has appointed Al Wood as its chief financial officer.
Wood will report to Doug Sabella, president and chief executive officer of the
company.
Wood has an experience of over 20 years with financial
management in the software industry, with both public and private enterprises.
Before this appointment, Wood was CFO of PalmSource, where, he managed the
company's spin out from its parent (Palm) and the IPO process.
Before PalmSource, Wood held CFO and VP level positions at
various companies including Insignia Solutions, Cohera Corporation, and Indus
International.
