Corporate customers in India can now avail Cable & Wireless branded services in India under the Tata Indicom brand.
This comes after Cable & Wireless (C&W) and Videsh Sanchar Nigam (VSNL) signed a strategic partnership to offer managed global connectivity services including ATM, frame relay, secure dial, MPLS-based IP-VPN with QoS, and managed private line
(MPL).
Customers in India can now seamlessly access the Cable & Wireless global network through VSNL's existing access infrastructure. Global network nodes have been set up in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai to facilitate this access. The joint network has redundant connectivity using different cables on both the eastern and western routes out of India.
With this partnership, C&W can offer its customers a wider coverage and connectivity to the C&W global network.
