Recognizing the global importance of the mushrooming BPO industry within India, Swedish workforce management solution provider, Teleopti, has launched its Indian presence in New Delhi. The company has taken this decision in order to service its growing client base in the region.
"India is one of the most promising markets and we have been eyeing this region for quite sometime. We started doing business in this region about a year back, through our relationship with 3D Networks-our channel partner for this region. We think that this is the right time for us to have our own presence and we are sure that this will help us in attracting more customers over here," explained Nils Bildt, founder and CEO of
Teleopti.
The company already has four big customers in India including Mumbai-based Mphasis. "We are expecting to have around 12 big customers by the end of next year. Though, there are a few players in the Indian region, we are the only workforce-management solution provider having its own presence in this region. We are targeting to generate close to $1 million revenue for the coming year from our Indian operations," he added.
The company has two flagship products in the area of workforce management and telecom management and both of these products will be supported from its Indian operations in New Delhi.
"The current release of our workforce management product contains tools to manage, involve and improve all aspects of workforce management in today's advanced contact centers. We are pricing our solution range between $100,000 to $500,000, but this pricing depends on the number of seats that a call center has," informed
Bildt.
Based in Sweden, Teleopti is a provider of solutions for strategic workforce management in contact centers, as well as accounting and cost and quality control of voice and IP enterprise networks.
