Tata Telecom Issues Rs 8 crore Commercial Paper

Tata Telecom Ltd has informed BSE that the Commercial Paper (CP) of Rs 12 crore issued on May 12, 2004 has been repaid on August 10, 2004 and fresh CP for Rs eight crore has been issued effective August 10, 2004. According to the company, the fresh CP that has been subscribed by Union Bank of India has will get matured on November 5, 2004.

According to information available from BSE, the aforesaid issuance of CP is not an additional borrowing or increase in debts of the company. Also, its working capital demand loan component of fund based limit sanctioning by its consortium bankers has been reduced to the extent of Rs eight crore effective August 10, 2004.
