Bangalore based manufactures of optical networking products Tejas Networks has inked a deal with ITI Ltd for its SDH (synchronous digital hierarchy) and SONET (synchronous optical networking) products.
The partnership would involve technology transfer and implementation Tejas' TJ100 range of optical networking SDH products for STM-1(155 Mbps), STM-4 (622 mbps) and STM-16 (2.5 Mbps) capacity.
The company hopes to anchor its expansion plans on to the growing telecom market, increased teledensity and the IT and BPO boom.
