Cisco Systems reported its third quarter results for the period ended 1 May 2004. Net sales for Q3 of FY 2004 were $5.6 billion, growth of 21.7 percent year on year. Income this quarter was $1.2 billion up from $987 million last year this quarter. During the period, Cisco acquired Riverhead Networks and Twingo Systems. Cash flows from its operations were $2.4 billion, "strongest…in the company's history," said John Chambers, president and CEO, Cisco.
