Airtel plans to inject an additional Rs 200 crore in the remaining part of 2003-04 in its Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh circles. The company has so far invested Rs 1,000 crore in the three northern circles. With additional investments coming in, Airtel's network coverage would reach out to 90 more towns and 800 villages, taking the total coverage to 369 towns and 3,300 villages in the region. AirTel also plans to seek a license for its mobile operations in J & K.
