BSNL’s cellular brand is to be called CellOne. The nationwide services will be launched from October 2 in about 300 cities.

Later on it will be extended to more than 800 cities by December. The prepaid brand has been christened as Ex-Cel. Internet Telephony brand will be called WebPhone. The announcements were made by the Communications Minister Pramod Mahajan, who incidentally also completed one year in office.
