Schneider Electrics registered Rs 37 crore, an increase of 14.54% in FY 2008-09 from Rs 32.4 crore in FY 2007-08, registering a modest growth from its structured cabling business. Dax Networks clocked Rs 13 crore in FY 2008-09 from Rs 11 crore in FY 2007-08 registering a 17% year-on-year growth. Since Dax relies mostly on government projects for its revenue, its growth has not been affected by the recessionary factor this year. Its major orders were from government and SMB/corporate segment followed by the telecom vertical.
