What separates it from the rest, except for D-Link, is that
its engineers not only make good products but also offer solutions. The trick
lies in having access to global technologies, using the local components and
then producing products suitable for the country.
It has major plans to come out with an IPO. This might be another unique
trend that it could set. As part of its consolidation strategy, it wants to
improve the infrastructure in the manufacturing plant, open offices in Mumbai
and Delhi, and add more products in the manufacturing line and value-added line.
MRO-Tek is well positioned to capitalize on the opportunities in the backbone
service provider/telecom service provider and the ISP markets through its
strategic alliance partners. It also plans to use the Indian market as a
platform to enter the Mid-East and SAARC countries and build platform products
and core technologies that can be easily customized for these markets and other
similar markets abroad.
