The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce for the first time in its history of 34 years has come out with a book, which highlights the business relationships and opportunities between the two countries. The book titled "Indo-US Business – Opportunities, Challenges and the Future", was released by PS Ramamohan Rao, Governor of Tamil Nadu. Speaking during the release of the book, Rao said that the book would contribute further in improving the relationship between India and the US. In the last decade and a half, the relations between the two countries have improved bilaterally and globally though they have not been recognized readily. Although a considerable growth has been seen in the Indo-US relations, but in matters of trade there has not been a remarkable growth, noted Rao. "It is because India and the US don’t see eye-to-eye on trade issues. With US as the largest trading partner for India, figures show that exports from India to US having grown exponentially. Whereas the import from US is still stagnant," he added. The book has nearly thirty plus authors who have contributed articles on various topics on the Indo-US business opportunities, challenges and future.
