The good and the bad news

...The good news… ….the bad news
  • 65 percent were satisfied with their servicel 
  • 62 percent believed that the rate of call dropping is rarel 
  • 51 percent felt price is OK (the survey was conducted before the price drops in Delhi and Calcutta)
  • QoS of the cellular service providers was rated better than MTNL/BSNL basic services by 70 percent
  • 46 percent had complaints about the quality of voice 
  • 50 percent of users said that customer care agents satisfactorily answer their queries only sometimes
  • Over all, the customer care was rated as satisfactory (as against excellent and good) by 42 percent and not OK by 8 percent
  • 56 percent blamed lack of competition for less than the desired level of service
    89 percent wanted to see more operators
*The survey is based on feedback from 300 corporate users from seven cities
