Being a technology consulting and outsourcing services company, what kind of market are you catering to?
We were the first company in India to give a pattern of uniform bill design across all channels such as print, Web, email, etc. We mainly service the banks, telcos, and utilities segment. Our product CLICK-PPS sits on the old legacy and operating system, and provides modern ways of communicating with customers. The same bill which is in print can be available on the Web and email. A product giving the same view on all platforms makes viewing easy for customers, call centers, and senior managers of the company. So any company which has a large billing base for customers can be served through the highly capable CLICK-PSS. We had pioneered this technology and Vodafone was the first to deploy it, and are still with us.

Tell us something about the CLICK-PSS (power and speed statement) technology?
CLICK-PSS is developed in Java and works on all platforms like UNIX, Windows, etc. It has a user-friendly graphical user interface for all modules-operations, administration, market/ad serving, CRM, and customer self service. It is easy to use and maintain, even by the end customers. The look and feel can be customised to integrate with the customers' existing portals or websites. It can also be customised to multiple languages, both Indian and international. CLICK helps in reducing turn-around time for operational activities, and in turn increases the speed in payment collection.

Is SEEinfobiz doing something new in the statement delivery space?
SEEinfobiz is planning convergence of bills across utilities such as phone, electricity, water, airlines, etc. We also plan to consolidate the bills across landline, mobile, broadband, and GPRS usage. Further, we are coming up with mobile bill presentment. To view bills on the mobile, no applications are required to be downloaded. An interactive DHTML presentation of bills has been introduced where customers can generate bills based on certain criteria such as official calls. It becomes easier for the user to bifurcate the usage of official and personal calls.

How are you catering to your overseas clients?
We plan to aggressively market our solutions in the US, UK, and UAE. We have partnered with HP, Wipro, and IBM, who will be selling our products in the overseas market, and we are looking forward to some very large deals with them in the coming quarter. Abroad, we are mainly focussing on the telecom and banking industry.

The VAS space is not growing and flourishing as required
Time taken in launching 3G is holding back the VAS segment
IP uses more bandwidth and since bandwidth cost is high, we continued to use both IP and TDM
