Anil Sardana, MD of Tata Teleservices, has received the Voice&Data Telecom Person of the Year 2010 award. Some of the key milestones under Anil's leadership include pan India operations for CDMA brand Tata Indicom, tie-up with NTT DOCOMO and a reverse equity swap with Quippo Telecom Infrastructure Limited, resulting in Wireless TT Info-Services Limited becoming the largest independent entity in this space, with the highest tenancy ratios in the industry.
Under his leadership, the company has roled out GSM services in 14 of India's 22 telecom circles in a quick span of under six months. Voice&Data Telecom Person of the Year 2010 steered his company to touch new highs with new initiatives.
