What is your current growth plan and how are you planning to expand your India market share?
We are seeing good expansion in VoIP and are expanding in line with that. We have been in India since 2001, and we are looking at setting up an R&D center. While we are enhancing our support model to support our base here, we are also increasing our channel partners. We have added three more channels in the past year, including Progression Infotech, Wipro and Momenta, and we are planning to tie-up with 2-3 more partners in the coming year also. We see India as a very strong market.
b>What is your current revenue earnings in the Indian market and what volumes are you working towards in the next 2-3 years?
We have close to 30-35% of the revenue market share, and we are one of the leading players in the gateway business. We have been in the market for sixteen years and we are listed on NASDAQ. We are looking at increasing our market share to close to 50% over the next two years and we are investing proportionately.
What are some of your recent products, and what are you planning to launch in the coming year?
We have come up with new products on the integrated side. We are moving into the solutions space also, and have launched IP phones, and VMAS recently, the latter, which provides mobile SIP clients and is available over smartphones, with an extension to PBX which can be carried on mobile. We are also venturing into the integrated space with our own IP-PBX which is to be launched during this year, and we are focusing on the CPEs side, that is, unified communications devices for wireline customers. This unified solution would therefore comprise routers, VoIP, Wi-Fi, GSM-CDMA gateways, bluetooth-all in the same device. This solution would cater to the residential clientele, and for enterprises we have new equipment SIP trunking and IP-PBX. We are showcasing most of these products at the Summit.
What are the market trends that you foresee and how are you working towards catering to those requirements?
We see the market moving towards VoIP as regulation is more lenient in this regard. We see lots of requirements for enterprise SBC, and the IP phones market will also be very huge-so we are planning for local manufacturing of IP-phones and IMS side. The idea is to have an integrated portfolio of products for VoIP and routing together.
What are some of your key achievements and how do you keep away competition?
Our sales have increased over 250% over the last year, and we are seeing a lot of traction. The customer market is expanding and new players are coming in, thus, we have deployed our solutions with most of the new carriers like Datacom and Uninor. Apart from this, we are also getting into niche fields like SS7 to SIP conversion. Our strength lies in the fact that we are an established brand, and we have confidence in the product and offer end-to-end solutions, so customers are happy and this also helps us to stay ahead. After all, the more products that we have leads to a single point of contact between the customer and us.
How have you benefited from the Summit?
The summit is good as it is one of the largest ICT events. There is a lot of participation from all sectors, and it also helps in showcasing products and test-marketing. Such events on this level also encourages networking. In addition, this year's event is bigger than last year and we have seen a good response, and also they have packed more into a shorter time period.
