BSNL is observing “Vigilance Awareness Week” from November 3-7, 2009 in accordance with the directives of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). The Vigilance Awareness Week was inaugurated wit the administering of the solemn pledge by Kuldeep Goyal, Chairman & Managing Director, BSNL .The pledge is aimed at sensitized and educating the public servants about the dangers of corruption as corruption is anti-poor, anti-national and anti-economic development. The week is an attempt to bring in more transparency in official work and to eradicate corruption from all walks of life. Sat Paul, Chief Vigilance Officer, BSNL said that the main purpose of observing the week dedicated to Vigilance Awareness is to rededicate ourselves and to reaffirm our commitments to see that public services in our country is rendered with dedication, sincerity and honesty.
