Bharti Teletech has signed an agreement with Avaya. Under the term of the agreement, Bharti Teletech will sell and distribute the entire portfolio of Avaya's unified communications and contact center solutions and services in India. With this alliance, Avaya will be able to leverage Bharti Teletech's distribution network with EPABX and voice partners and system integrators to penetrate the Indian market. Sunil K. Goyal, CEO, Bharti Teletech, said, “The agreement with Avaya will enable Bharti Teletech to capitalise tremendously on the increasing demand for IP EPABX, VoIP products and solutions for the Indian corporate and institutional segment. Bharti Teletech has a strong base of EPABX Channel Partners across India who are ideally poised to service the SMB Segment. Bharti Teletech's partners are technically sound and have good service capabilities that are backed by Bharti Teletech's Customer Support Team. The SMB Segment customers would be able to get customized after sales support from these Channel Partners and Bharti Teletech. Further, our understanding of the Indian market coupled with our extensive network of system integrators is a perfect match for Avaya's growth strategy in India. The mutually beneficial partnership will provide both the partners with opportunities to further strengthen their reach and position in the enterprise communication market.”
