Bangalore: Huawei Technologies India, the largest overseas R&D center of Huawei Technologies, has announced the achievement of SEI CMMi Ver 1.2 Level 5 certification. Being the highest level of quality and process maturity appraisal in the industry, this certification can boost customer confidence in HTIPL's delivery and quality capabilities.
The appraisal was conducted by KPMG in accordance with the SCAMPI Methodology, and HTIPL has been assessed at the Maturity Level-5 of the Software Engineering Institute, Carnegie Mellon University, USA, and Capability Maturity Model Integrated CMMi Ver 1.2 - for the Products/Platforms/Projects covering Software Engineering, and Product Development in the Application and Services Business Line of the Indian R&D center. K K Raman, Lead Assessor and Executive Director of KPMG stated “Huawei Technologies India has successfully demonstrated their capability to operate at higher levels of software development maturity as seen in the Business Line assessed.” Speaking on the achievement, Justin Chen, Chief Operating Officer of Huawei Technologies India believes the certification could boost customer confidence in HTIPL's delivery and quality capabilities.
