BT, Siemens' Converged Communications Solution
Tuesday, June 03, 2008

BT, Siemens has entered into a global sales agreement to offer a converged communications solution for large multinational enterprises. The solution aims at helping these enterprises reduce costs, remove complexity and risk, improve collaboration, and enhance business processes. It achieves this by leveraging the existing investments in currently separate voice and data infrastructures, and offering a compelling transition path to a centrally managed IP-based communications platform.

The BT and Siemens converged communications solution enables enterprises to consolidate and converge their voice and data communications at their own pace, one site at a time if so required. This solution combines Siemens OpenScape suite of communications software applications and OpenScale services with BT's world class MPLS network.
