Kenya's GSM operator Safaricom has deployed ZipBill, the
electronic bill presentment and bill production suite of Lifetree Convergence.
It delivers invoices electronically to subscribers via e-mail and through the
Safaricom website. In addition, the application includes the Ad Engine that
permits rule-based insertion of advertisements, as well as a tool for bill
analysis. The application was deployed for both pre-paid as well as post-paid
customers.
