Alcatel Development India facility in Chennai has been
successfully assessed at the Software Engineering Institute's Capability
Maturity Model (SEI CMM) Level 5 compliance for the site's fixed solutions
activities. This industry recognition of CMM maturity Level 5 has been achieved
as part of the corporate R&D effectiveness program for enhancing the
engineering process capability.
With the achievement of CMM maturity level 5, the organization
has the means to identify weaknesses and strengthen the process proactively,
with the goal of preventing occurrence of defects.
