Vodafone Buys Into Bharti

Vodafone Group has secured around 10% interest in Bharti Tele-Ventures through Vodafone Mauritius (4.4%) and Vodafone International Holdings (5.65%) from Warburg Pincus. Vodafone has made a total investment of approximately Rs 6,700 crore to acquire this interest. Bharti Enterprises maintains a controlling interest of 45.9% in BTVL. With the final sale of its stake, Warburg Pincus has now completely exited the company.
