There was no change in the Top 3 positions. Cisco occupied the No. 1 slot
with around 32.6 percent of the marketshare. Itwas way ahead of its competitors
as even the combined turnover of Enterasys, D-Link, Nortel, and Avaya was far
lower than Cisco’s turnover. This year, transmission equipment was not
included in Networking Masters.
Companies like D-Link, CommWorks, and HNS had flat growth whereas RAD (Mro-Tek)
registered negative growth. The excellent performance of VSAT vendors helped
them enter the Top 10 Club. 3Com India was unable to repeat its previous
performance but its service provider unit, CommWorks, secured the sixth
position.
