Growth Drivers

Some of the factors that will drive enterprise to re-look at their network storage infrastructure:

Information growth: The top five applications driving the need for increased network storage capacity are: e-mail, CRM, business growth, increased files sizes, and new employees.

Increased demand by SMEs: Information and applications boom is happening not only within large organizations but is growing faster in midsize and small businesses. With networked storage prices coming down, SMEs have emerged as a key vertical for storage solutions and services market in India.

Regulatory compliance: Regulatory compliance can drive processes, data retention and capacity growth and must be built into a company's management models for computing and storage environments. Growth for enterprise storage has been triggered by regulations like the RBI and SEBI guidelines that mandate companies to store data for a few years.

Enterprise applications: The likes of ERP and CRM have also been driving growth in a big way.
