The major revenue earners for the company was banking and finance which contributed 30 percent of its total revenues. The manufacturing and the IT sectors contributed a decent share of 20 percent each. Telecom/ISP and transport/utilities were the other sectors that contributed 10 percent each to its total revenues. Active in all the markets except East, CMS registered Rs 54.57 crore in last fiscal.

CMS upgraded the IDBI Network from shared 10 Mbps to switched Layer 3 Gigabit Ethernet backbone. For Tata Finance, 20 new locations were added in the WAN network increasing the number of locations to 45 using 64 Kbps leased-line with ISDN as backbone. Various exchanges of MTNL Mumbai were interconnected to the central billing system. 

The company also implemented the Virtual Private Network (VPN) for Stock Holding Corp. ofIndia Ltd whereby 30 new branches all over India were connected using the service provider's network. Some of the other projects included Government of Maharashtra, NTPC, and  Airports Authority of India.

With margins coming down in integration, CMS is actively looking for newer areas like WAP and has joined hands with a foreign company as WAP implementation partner.
