| To offer solutions at a reasonable price and as per customers’ need
Chetan Turakhia, DGM, marketing, Intellicon Pvt Ltd.
What is Intellicon’s strategy going to be in the
face of the current slowdown?
To offer solutions at a reasonable price and as per
customers’ needs as well as to establish a strong network to support
customers, effectively. We have also worked out a few incentive schemes
for our dealers and our sales staff, and they are all charged up to
achieve the desired numbers.
How has Intellicon structured its product line to
address all the EPABX user segments?
The segments are SOHO mid-range analog systems
mid-range digital systems and high-range EPABX systems Intellicon has a
specific product for each of these markets and can compete with any
company in the industry, offering the best value for money.
What are users’ expectations from EPABX systems,
today?
In small and mid-range, expectations are related to CTI
for the services industry, voice mailing or accessories such as access
control. In case of high-range, the expectation is convergence between
voice and data.
What type of EPABX companies, will survive?
As there are parallel markets existing in India and
each of them have tremendous competition, market share from each market
segment is likely to reduce for everyone unless each company offers
quality product at an affordable price, and promotes after-sales service.
According to me, only such companies would survive.
