While Kewal Khanna's achievements as the T&M man of India may not amount to much in terms of pure numbers (revenue from telecom T&M is yet to see the big time, despite the on-going telecom service and manufacturing revolution in India) however, his efforts are sure to bear fruit in the future. As the long standing man-in-charge of Agilent India, the T&M major, Kewal Khanna worked with telecom service providers educating them about the need for T&M. His has worked as the first sales manager of HP in India, and he was responsible for setting up its test and measurement operations in the country.

He also put India on the global T&M/OSS map with the setting up of a captive BPO for Agilent in Gurgaon. This branch of Agilent India's business deals with R&D for OSS/BSS solutions, engineering support, IT support, and financial services to Agilent entities worldwide.
