Rajiv Kumar, co-founder and CTO of Widcomm, is considered a worldwide authority on Bluetooth wireless technology. He is currently leading the Mobile web services solutions strategy of Panacea solution, a company offering end-to-end Web Services enabled complete business process management solution. Most recently, he held a pivotal position at Uniden, managing both the wireless modem and PC card and cellular/PCS wireless data product lines. Before that, Kumar was engineering director for PCSI, where he contributed to the pACT-based, two-way paging system. While at PCSI, Kumar also contributed to the world's first CDPD- and AMPS-based smart phone. Prior to this, he was the engineering director at Hughes Network Systems. He holds a BS in electrical engineering and an MS in computer science from IIT, Bombay.
