RN Goyal is credited with several unique contributions in the
field of telecommunications. As the Chief General Manager of Madhya Pradesh
Telecom Circle, Goyal was the man behind the National Telecom Museum (NTM) set
up at Bhopal in 1995. The museum is the first of its kind, not only in India,
but also in Asia. The NTM at Bhopal has proved to be a link between the past and
the future, and has unique collections on telecom for display.
Goyal is also a prolific writer and has published more than 100 technical
papers in many reputed journals. He has been Chief General Manager of North-East
Telecom Circle, Satellite Projects Circle, Northern Projects Circle, Madhya
Pradesh Telecom Circle, Advisor (HRD), Advisor (Operations), and Member
(Production) in Telecom Commission.
