Sanjiv Ahuja joined Orange in April 2003 as COO and became the CEO of the Orange Group in 2004. He is the founder and CEO of Comstellar Technologies. Before starting Comstellar Technologies, he served as the president and COO at Telcordia Technologies (formerly Bellcore or Bell Communications Research).

Ahuja began his career at IBM as a software engineer in 1979, after graduating in electrical engineering from the University of Delhi, and doing MS in computer science from Columbia University. He directed IBM's entry into the distributed systems management and telecommunications management marketplaces. His name is associated with a number of companies for his services as a member of board of directors in Telcordia, SAIC, Computervision, Danet, Tecsi, Tellium, Avici Systems, and Network Appliance. He is also a founding member of the Editorial Advisory Board of America's Network magazine.
